Mission
“Servare Vitas!” – To Save Lives!
The principle goal of SVS is to save lives by providing a uniquely professional yet personable brand of firearms training geared to responsible citizens interested in pursuing increased individual, family and community safety through proficiency and competency with their firearms.
Training PHILOSOPhY
SVS believes in the need to not only instruct but to coach students to become not just good shooters but to become excellent gun handlers as well. The two must go hand in hand. Let’s face it, anyone can discharge a firearm, but it takes a skilled and disciplined individual to shoot well and handle themselves competently and confidently on the 360 degree range we call “life”. Our material is presented in a professional and non-intimidating manner. Years of experience has shown adult learners learn best when a foundation of knowledge has been established though a blend of demonstrated objective, performance and ‘discovery’ learning drills measured against a diagnostic performance evaluation of the individual. This increased level of competency is accomplished through an adherence to sound safety principles, challenging standards and with an emphasis on “doing the basics better”.
